GTA 5 - the first minute
Tim asked for the whiteboard-with-a-character format, sticker style, like Calisthenics With
Lavender but about GTA, with real gameplay shown here and there. That is the new one at the top. The previous
cover-art cut is kept below so you can compare them side by side.
Whiteboard + host (new)
Paper canvas · one recurring character · real footage inserts
- A host in every single frame - the same guy, 14 poses: pointing at you, arms folded, hands on his
head, thinking, walking away. That is what actually makes the Lavender format work; the props hang off him.
- He shows up twice in one frame at two scales every few shots - their signature move.
- Real gameplay plays inside a framed card on the board: the bank, the shootout, the snow, the escape.
- Pale paper background, and typography that changes size and colour inside one phrase.
Rockstar cover art (previous)
Full-bleed scenes · steady backdrop · objects move
How the host stays the same person
- A locked description of the character - build, hair, exact clothing and colours - is repeated word for word
in every prompt; only the pose sentence changes. Face, jacket, chain and sneakers hold across all 14 poses.
- Each pose is cut out to a transparent sticker so he can stand anywhere on the board.
How the footage gets in
- The scene engine draws HTML, so it cannot play video. The board draws the empty frame and records exactly
where and when it lives; the clip is then composited into that rectangle to the frame.
- Every insert is cropped hard to remove the source watermark, the game HUD and the in-game subtitles.
Before this ships: the gameplay clips are cut from someone else's upload and are a
prototype placeholder. Say the word and I will swap them for our own capture - the clip names stay the same, so
nothing else in the build changes.
